BT wont give me my mac number after they cut off internet/vision instead of upgrading

I have made 21 calls to BT after I called them to upgrade my internet allowance. Instead of upping the allowance which is purely updating my account they cut off broadband and BT vision so we`ve had no broadband or TV now for a while.They`ve even sent an engineer out who did nothing. I think there just blagging and being as unhelpful as they can. After all these calls they are playing silly wotsits and are refusing to give me my mac number so that I can complete move to sky, even though by law they should give within 5 days by law.

if your broadband is cut off you cant get a mac as you have no no service.

Also to move any LLU operator you dont need a mac code.

You will need to get bt to remove there tags from your line so its clear.

They can't give a mac because you have no service as already said. Just to confirm the above you need to get. An advisor to ring their tags department and ask them to clear the tags from the line so Sky will be free to place an order. This could take a little time, be patient.
