Does anyone know if there is a chain of hotels in Europe that have special prices like Travel lodge do in UK. My friends and I are are planning a long weekend away in spring to any city we can find a good deal for but as funds are short we have to budget hard.
Any advise or suggestions please.

Novotel and Ibis in France (and no doubt other parts of Europe) are usually quite affordable.

The Etap and B&B chains are even cheaper at about £25 per room.0 -
yes - try accorhotels.com for info on Formula 1 (formule 1) in several European countries (little plastic box rooms with double bed and a single over it) - clean and very cheap - Etap is the same but with an ensuite plastic bathroom - IBIS is a step up again and Novotel is more luxurious - all in same group.0
