if the child care is only needed when your partner is at uni, surely the sum is only for a maximum of 39 weeks a year, does it cost £53 a day?Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

How much bursary does your Partner get?
Actually I make it £53 a week taking a university 39 weeks an academic year into account and yes, that is how much childcare costs. A Day. Are you quite old?;)Overactively underachieving for almost half a century0 -
As your partner is on a nursing course I would expect her to be able to do a couple of shifts as an HCA on the nursing bank or in a care home. This will give you extra income and enhance her CV for when she applies for a permanent job.0

No - just live in a cheaper part of the country I guess, I paid £30 a day. Even if it only pays for one day its better than nothing surely.
Dont forget though that if a child is enrolled in a nursery it wont be term-time only, the nursery will expect the child to attend every week (although most give 2 weeks off)Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
