government cutting again

this government is cutting again,,people who have paid loads of money for so;ar panels,and getting paid for leccy they put into grid,have now cut that payment,,so much for the green caring goverment

  • Yes but those people will still be getting a decent return on their investment. Would you rather the rest of us consumers (who can't afford to have solar panels installed) paid more in order to subsidise the scheme?
  • AFAIK they're cutting the subsidies for new owners, not existing contracts :)

    You do realise that the money the government was giving people was coming out of the public purse - I.E you and I and if its deemed too high a rate that they are paying now then im happy for this to happen really.

    everyone is going on about greenhouse warming,,damaging the world etc,,these people are going there small bit,,and were gettin a rewaerd for helping the world,,not too bad a deal IMO
