Got my Vanquis Card .... Feel Strange though ...

Ah thanks!
They started me off with 59.9% (eek) APR .... so yep I had to sit down for that one lol ... will only be using it for small things that I have saved the money up for already ....
So for example, my son's 3rd birthday is in march, and we found a cheap deal with travelodge (£20 for two nights!) so I was thinking of renting a car (I got rid of my car a year ago, and I really miss driving) ... it will make that process a lot easier. I might go see if I can do it through a cashback site as well and get a bit of extra money back in the process

This may sound like a daft question but what do you think the chances are for getting approved whilst undischarged??
Not that I need/want credit, just looking to start rebuilding my file as quickly and efficiently as possible...
Having checked my credit file it doesn't seem that bad. 2 Mobile phone contracts running for years with no issues and 2 bank accounts all with green ticks. I have also only got 5 defaults lol £50 credit limit and 1000% apr would still suit me????0 -
I was discharged on 3rd december and just applied for my vanquis card. it says it has been "successfully submitted" but says they will phone me to confirm the application and get the account opened. So not sure if that does actually mean its been approved or not haha i guess i'll see what happens when they phone me! I just want it to get my credit looking good before we decide to move in a few years and put the mortgage in my name as its in my partner and his brother's name at the moment!0

Yep sounds like you've been accepted
they'll ring to go through a couple of bits...then pester you to death on the phone later trying to sell you payment cover should you be unable to meet your vanquis repaymentsWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Everyone seems to have been discharged when they apply. Can you apply whilst undischarged as I doubt I would get over £500 lol0

while undischarged probably unlikely.....they refused me 1st time I tried just after dischargeWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
