  • For anyone out there who works for Asda, keep your eye open on the message boards at work as the FREE kids easter egg hunt is on Sunday an hour before the store opens! This is a free hunt that Asda puts on for its colleague's kids, and the kids get to go WILD in the aisles looking for easter eggs!

Other options available include, hard boiling some eggs, getting the kids to colour or paint them, then the next day hiding them about the house and garden! The one that finds the most gets a little cadbury egg (cheaper than a big egg and just as good!)

Get a group of kids round and have a bonnet making session! Use paper to make a crown and then either stick pictures on from magazines that are easter related, or get the kids to draw and colour using their imagination.

Get in the kitchen and make cornflake chocolate crunchies and using little hard easter eggs (you know the ones, they come in a yellow bag) make easter nests!

That's it for now, hope these help someone keep sane over the coming holidays

Great idea! I dont have any kids but my (chocolate addict) girlfriend is going to love this! havent made this since I was a kid
  • If any of you have young kids and know someone with chickens(!) here's a great idea I got from some distant relatives in Germany.

On Easter Saturday take the children to 'feed' the chickens chocolate chips. Then on Sunday take the children on a hunt to collect all the chocolate eggs that the chickens have 'laid' over night!! Comical. :rotfl:

On Sunday 20th March at Sue Ryder Care Home in Stagenhoe Park, St Paul's Walden, Herts. your kids can join an Easter Egg Hunt for £3.00 per child. All entrants get a prize and there is also an Easter Bazaar for the grown ups too. This is to raise funds for the above. It is a georgian mansion in beautiful countryside. 01438 871215

Megabowl are doing a special - bowling, burger and chips £5. Price includes 2 games of bowling, shoe hire, "tasty" burger and portion of fries. Valid from Sat. 19th March until Sunday 3rd April 9am-midday - ages 16 and under.

Have checked on the web megabowl.co.uk but nothing on here - but this info is found in "Primary Times" (doesn't say you need advertisement or magazine)
