I agree with the rather mysterious nature of £2 coins, some weeks they're out and about and getting into everyone's change and other weeks they are back in hiding.

I'm up to about £16 now, partly because I've finally managed to persuade the OH that this is a fun idea . he got a bit carried away with himself the other week and put a whole £5 note in the jar, but I had to move that into another odds and sods saving jar as that's not keeping to the challenge (although I'm impressed by the sentiment )

As I'm a late arrival to the challenge I'm going to sign up on the 2013 thread as I'm saving on through for our wedding in October. See you over there!

Quick check-in with a "subtotal": made it to £196 now, which with the festivities rapidly approaching is a very welcome sum. I'll declare my final total for the year either when I hit £200 or we reach 15th December - whichever comes first

All slowed up a bit. Havent had any in change for ages - Got 2 today so that the total up to £158 - dont think I will make my £200 but wont be far off!
