Just had a quick read back of other posts:
I dont 'buy' - for me its the thrill of getting one or 2 in change ( sad I know!)
50ps - put in a pot any I get with a picture on ( weird and sad!) I didnt know there where 29 Olympic ones - now I am on a mission!
I also have a tin for 5ps and one of those oversize whiskey bottles which I have been trying to fill forever - I can see1/2ps ( thats half ps BTW) at the bottom so that is how long:rotfl::rotfl: We tip our coppers in there at the weekend - whatever on purse pocket etc -thats the rule! Have got as far as the shoulder of the bottle.
Road kill -we all contribute to that - whatever is found outside the house - and it goes towards something at Christmas - last year we had over £20:D But this year is looking very lean - people must be holding onto their cash a little tighter:rotfl:
You're far more addicted than me:rotfl::rotfl:and that's saying something!0 -
It's ok bought 4 coins back from shopping and got another 2 in change from our evening out. Straight into a new shiny tin:D
Told you I would get back on track;)0 -

Well its the folding stuff that comes out of the machine that gets spent - whats left is very little so I squirrel that away - the only ones I dont touch and have a goal to reach are the coppers and the £2's - I have been know to pay the milkman in 5ps before now:rotfl::rotfl:
3 more doubloons - clunk clunk clunk and all of a sudden the total is up to £84:jBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
