  • Hello everyone:wave:

I am off to a wedding reception this evening and I thought it would be really nice to go and get a nice new dress and new clothes for my boys:cool: (hubby and son)

Can you imagine my surprise when I opened my tin and found an amazing £78 :D:D

I think someone has been putting coins in there without telling me;)

Don't worry I will start collecting again as soon as we get back from shopping.
  • I'm on a roll. Took an appliance back to a shop today and my refund contained TWO lovelies! In the pot when I get home and my total is now £92!! Creeping towards the three digits. :T

Just had a quick read back of other posts:

I dont 'buy' - for me its the thrill of getting one or 2 in change ( sad I know!)
50ps - put in a pot any I get with a picture on ( weird and sad!) I didnt know there where 29 Olympic ones - now I am on a mission!

I also have a tin for 5ps and one of those oversize whiskey bottles which I have been trying to fill forever - I can see1/2ps ( thats half ps BTW) at the bottom so that is how long:rotfl::rotfl: We tip our coppers in there at the weekend - whatever on purse pocket etc -thats the rule! Have got as far as the shoulder of the bottle.

Road kill -we all contribute to that - whatever is found outside the house - and it goes towards something at Christmas - last year we had over £20:D But this year is looking very lean - people must be holding onto their cash a little tighter:rotfl:

    Another 3 added today :j

Does anyone know what one of those metal tin banks holds? Not the large tins, just the smaller one. Think it's a disney princess one I got from PoindLand if anyone knows the size :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
