They now want more money?

I booked a hotel through Alpha rooms back in Sept 2006 for a holiday in Aug 2007 and paid deposit and today I have got an email from them saying that they have made a mistake with the price and now they want to charge me £300 more is this legal?? All they are offering is 10% off next holiday!! i will not be booking with them again after this!! Need some advice quick please can any one help.

we have just had this email of them too today .. did you book the hawali in ibiza as thats what we booked.... as we have only just got an email can you give us any further update as to what is happening in your case .......
