1) Broken the vets code of conduct in not seeking a second opinion referral.

Absolutely unacceptable. The outcome has been decided before a hearing.
The individual should be provided with full details of the allegation before the hearing, including statements and investigation findings - this is required to test the evidence".
Disciplinary outcomes should be proportionate and reasonable. Worst case scenario, a possible counselling, no more. Anything beyond that and I would be raising eyebrows over the true agenda from the employer.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
