Hi
I am about to renew my insurance in 2 weeks and was wondering if it's best to stay fully comp or go TPF&T?
I dont work, am a stay at home mum, only really drive short distances and dont drive everyday btw i dont do a school run as ds is only 2.
The price difference between the 2 lowest quotes i hAVE is £100.

I think the real question is how do the quotes compare to the value of your car?
I had a car accident in 2005 on my way to work. I was only two streets from home. The girl that hit me was even closer to home. Therefore, the fact that you drive short distances is irrelevant, you are at risk of other peoples' negligence as soon as you set off.0 -
If the cars only worth a few hundred quid then I'd go TPF&T with protected no claims. This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0

Would you have the money to replace your car if you had an accident? If you wouldnt i would go with fully comp, as you could be left without a car!0
