Groupon - Refund request

Hi,

I was after some advise please.

i brought a groupon voucher for a spa day and to cut a very long story short the day was a catalogue of disasters. We didnt redeem the voucher and the main problem is that the "spa" (it definatley WASNT a Spa!) facilities werent available until 11.30am (which they had not advised anyone about).

I complained to the manager at the time and he said i needed to request a refund through Groupon which I have done.

They replied offering me a refund in groupon credits.

I declined and said I wanted my money back but they have now said they cant do that and do i want the groupon credits?

My view is that as the product was not up to an acceptable standard I should be entitled to my money back - however, I dont know what the actual rules around this is.

can anyone helps?

This is odd, I recently requested a refund for a windows cleaning service that wasn't possible to redeem due to broken equipment, Groupon gave me a choice of either refund back to my credit card (4-5 days working days) or groupon credit (within 24 hours.) Maybe you can give their CS a call and see if different CS makes a difference?

I bought a spa deal a while back but when i rang to book it they didnt have the date i wanted. Emailed groupon, and refund was recieved in a week.

Yes it is but not spam the same site you actively looking for groupon posts and then posting another site enjoy your short stay

Yes it does offend, how could you be helping me with my Groupon delivery dates by offering to purchase my voucher, you don't have to work for NASA to figure out that if I'm complaining about my delivery dates I have already submitted my voucher. Busted!!
