Struggling to pay mortgage and Bills
Comments
-
have you thought of putting it too auction i know you will lose money but you are in a tricky situation as for your dogs i make you right dont get rid of them i know its hard but you do work long hours to pay for them.as one poster put about the smell i have 3 dogs that have regular baths and my house is very clean dogs are not allowed upstairs so dont see a problem with someone renting a room from you unless they smell.anyway apart from that best of luck.julieBefore you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

To me it sounds like your whole problem is your ex. Don't know the law but surely if he's on the mortgage then he should pay his bit, including any hit you take when you managed to sell. I'm sure he'd be in touch if you were making a profit.
Wrong! for the last 5 years, I have paid the mortgage on our house, so Vika could stay and look after the children, however it’s legally OUR house. Should I sue her then?
I’ve also just paid the lease on my OH’s business, as she doesn’t have the funds to do it. We’ve only owned it for 4 months, and have only been open for 2 weeks following renovation, before anyone comments!💙💛 💔0 -
Thanks everyone
(well, not everyone if I am honest, as some of you have been down right rude and insensitive when I was only asking for advice)
.
Dont ask for advice if your not going to like the answers. Simples.
Otherwise you have already made your mind up and the question is pointless. To most people dogs wouldnt come before bills, for you it would and thats fine. Just dont slate people for pointing this out especially when you asked them for an opinion in the first place.Salt0 -

who said anything about sueing her ? Op does not have kids so a different situation. If i split from my other half and stayed in the house I'd expect to pay the bills but if we were selling i'd expect everything to be split 50/50 including selling costs etc which she said he would not pay. Obviously you are one of the nice guys :T paying for you children to have a home and are lucky to be able to but plenty dont.0 -
OP,
I wouldn't give up (or kill!) my dogs in your situation either. You have more options to explore yet. I think that there must be somebody you can rent your room to who also has a dog or find a dog loving lodger. Hopefully by the New Year and with the home improvements you have suggested, your house will eventually sell.
Also renting with dogs isn't impossible, my sister has just rented a lovely little house and has 2 dogs, it may be harder and you may have less choice, but its not impossible.
As for that totally bizarre post on the first page, its interesting to see that the poster in question has now been banned from posting!!
Good luck.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Excuse me? I have been grateful for the advice I have received and I have thanked people for it, but yes I do take offence to someone suggesting I carve up my dogs, eat them and then roast their carcases on my fire. That is not what I would call 'advice' that is someone deliberately trying to offend me.0 -

I think you have been very polite OP, more than I would be with some of the responses you've had!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

i think that might have been a joke.Salt0 -
You think? I hope so. Because it was reported. What a sick thing to say?0

Its also worth pointing out at this moment that it wasnt only me that you were moaning about. So even excluding my joke you were still moaning about other peoples comments.
If you dont want advice (other than what is already in your head) then dont ask for it.Salt0
