no, but I know what you are going through, friends just got a new Vista PC,new printer will not install out of the box (but found drivers for that on the web) wireless adapter NO WAY, have 3 here and none have Vista updates ......

I have now crippled it and therefore have no virus protection and also zone alarm wont install cos it sees macafee on my system.

You must have had admin rights to instal/uninstal the vista pack???
Have you logged in on a different account ??

Here is a handy utility to change a couple of things in IE7 - including show/hide menu.

Download "IE7 Tweak Utility". You don't have to install it, just save it to your hard drive and run it.

I Do have admin rights.

Just that macafee doest think I have and I cant get round it.
when I try to uninstal all it says is - you must have admin rights - and then the only option given is to close.
