Holiday in Egypt

We are thinking about going to Egypt at the beginning of September and really need some advice. We have looked at some 4 and 5 star hotel options but my sister-in-law has told me that the food in most of the hotels isn't really upto much. Can anyone recommend a good hotel? We are looking at the Sharm area.
Many thanks,

We have just booked a fortnights holiday to Sharm in June. Wanting a good all inclusive hotel, I looked on a couple of the hotel review websites and found the same sort of problems, that the food in the hotels isn't up to much. Being a family of five we didn't have many hotels to choose from with big enough rooms. We decided to go bed and breakfast at a hotel in Naama Bay where i am told that there is a good variety of places to eat out within walking distance.0

We went to sharm for the first two weeks in September last year and stayed at the Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort (website below).

I spent ages looking through the review sites and this was practically the only hotel I could find in sharm in our price range with mainly positive feedback!
We booked flights with XL.com and then booked the hotel on lastminute.com (link below). We went for 2 weeks all inclusive which cost £758 for the hotel for two of us. Our flights were about £330 for both of us.

I had a really good time and would recommend the hotel. The food is buffet style and there is lots of choice. There are a couple of other restaurants you can go to on the site which you have to pay for but are pretty cheap. We had no problems with feeling ill or getting a bug while we were there.
We stayed in the hotel resort but there are also beach bungalows on the coast which belong to the site and they are cheaper.0 -

I went at the beginning of Sep 2006 and we stayed in a hotel called the Laguna Vista in Nabq Bay, Sharm. It was really comfortable and relaxing there. It's got buffet food in the main restaurant, another restaurant by the beach and an Italian restaurant by the beach should you wish to eat there one night. The food didn't always look that great but it tasted good (apearence isn't everything!) The only downside was the Italians could be quite pushy and rude.
Have a good trip and go and visit the Pyramids at Giza as they're amazing!0 -
