I have just received my second 'initial' letter from these people.
First one was followed by all the others and now appears to have gone quiet. In my defence, I saw the signs but assumed they were 2 hours just like our local Lidl. Turned out they were only an hour and half. If we had returned straight to the car we would have been out in time but silly me went shopping in Lidl.
This time we aimed to get back in time. All was going well but again I popped into the shop. The cashier was on a go slow and was having a good yak with the customer, it appeared they knew each other well. Not a real problem but it meant we went over the hour and half by minutes!
So yet again, I have a letter from Athena.
Like last time I will not be contacting them to inform them of the driver (wasn't me!), nor will I be taking any notice.
But just wondered, do they keep any records? This is my second letter but the car has changed. Will they be aware they have already sent me a letter? And what is the most anyone has had?
I wouldn't deliberately overstay but both times it has been because I was shopping in the store!!!

Athena have never ever done court. They're a strictly 'send out the letters, be happy if 40% of people pay' company. Any cross referencing would be unnecessary ie. non-proftable.0
