Tesco Direct Order Mistake

Hi all,
I placed an order on the 1st Feb for a computer on the tesco direct website. However, I realised I had ordered the wrong model after my wife asked to look at the spec later that evening. I cancelled the order and placed a new one. Tesco refunded my original order and delivered my changed order the next day, along with the one that has been refunded.
Any ideas on what I should do in this circumstance? It is a mistake on their part and although I do have a conscience, they have ripped me off on a TV in the past and didn't have a conscience themselves.
Any responses are appreciated.

I've had this. I cancelled an order of 6 items as I no longer needed 2 and was going to re-order the other 4 later.
They were very helpful, cancelled my order and refunded my card in full.
Next day my full order turns up.
Personally I kept it for 3 months sealed and in packaging. I have ordered since and nothing has been said. So I kept it all. Value was just over £180.
I'm tempted to order some more stuff and cancel it! Never have done though as thats taking the proverbial!
The weird thing was, no signature was required to take the good either. If a sig was required, just keep it if you can wrapped so it can go back if needbe.
I know its wrong, you should declare it etc. But normally if you do something wrong with a company they will chase you down.
I know Tesco have done this to others aswell, so seems they need to sort themselves out!0 -
Perhaps you could explain how they ripped you off on the TV. If the circumstance fall right, you can hold the computer as a lien over any money they owe you.
Otherwise you will need to tell them their mistake and ask them to come and pick it up. It is then up to them what they choose to do but don't let them lead you into thinking you have to make efforts to return it. They have to arrange that.0 -
I can't see the Distant Selling Regs (in regards to unsolicited goods) applying - so on what grounds do you have to keep it? If Tescos asked for it back, tey will pursue it.
Save yourself difficulty and contact them to arrange collection it.Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0 -
Keep it, I think Tesco can survive lol.0
