Debenhams: Wrapping paper, Crackers & Cards Half Price

Do you use different wrapping paper for Santa's gifts and ones from yourselves to the children?
I ask as a mum friend of mine, wraps all gifts in 1 paper as she cannot be 'bothered' to buy multiple colours/designs. Her children never question the gifts and who they are from.
My children, ask who each gift is from so that they can write thankyou's. They would also wonder what I had bought them so I wrap a small gift up in another paper.
I always use different paper for father Xmas prezzes & prezzes from me:)0 -

Me too. Sometimes I end up buying several different sheets of wrapping paper as godparents who live abroad send money and ask me to buy the presents. All are wrapped with different paper.0 -
Slightly off topic, so apologies for that, but is it too early to write Christmas cards? We're expecting in January, and I was made redundant just after we found out, so I have some time at the minute, but worry about writing too early in a superstitious kind of way.0

Never too early to write them.
Sending them now is a bit early though0 -

At that length makes me wonder why they call it a roll and not a sheet of wrapping paper! lolSo so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
Hope sharing saves some pain.0 -

All our presents are from Santa..... that man gets all the credit in our house
We just buy a mixture of kid wrapping paper and wrap the lot in different types.
I did buy the "adult" wrapping paper from Debenhams last year (sale buy) it was ok quality but I would never have paid full price for it.0 -
Our children's presents from Santa are in a different paper to the ones from us.
And it's def not too early to write your cards, especially if you're expecting, Mazzarati2000. Our little girl was due early Dec so I knew I wouldn't have time that year so all cards were written and presents wrapped by end of nov that year0 -

i always wrapped santas gifts in different paper, usually featuring santa or rudolph on the paper so it was easier to remember that was the 'special paper' i to have an inquisitive daughter, however it's no longer a concern at her age so now i have plenty of santa themed paper to finish using, hope the adults don't mind too much :rotfl:0 -
In our house santa uses different paper to us too, he also uses a different paper for each child, as with 4 piles to lay out it makes Christmas eve much simpler:). I always buy Costco wrap, not sure on the price per meter but its always fantastic quality and the rolls seem to last forever.0
