Please help. No hot water.

We have E7 hot water and yesterday we woke up and there was no hot water. Checked and all the lights indicated that everything was alright. From reading on here I am thinking it's the immersion heater that's packed up.
We do have the old copper hot water storage tanks. Any input appreciated.

have you tried it on boost, or manual, you should hear it start to 'sing' after a bit.

Yes I have tried on boost yesterday morning after the discovery and also in the evening. However I haven't done it on manual. It has always been on timed when the low rate starts.

jings, you're having your probs just now (i'm trying to help you with router).

Manual and boost are really the same, so either something wrong with time switch or immersion.
