Just had to share - had great customer service from V-Tech. I bought a V-tech camera about 3 years ago for my son. He picked it a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work properly - it froze as it was turning on - so I changed the batteries and pressed the reset but it didn't seem to fix the problem. The power only worked intermitently.
I emailed V-tech to ask if they had any tips on what to do or if they could repair as I thought it was a dodgy power button. They replied that they couldn't repair and as due to age couldn't replace - fair enough I didn't expect it to last for much longer anyway - they are for small children and they do get dropped a lot. Anyway they said if I returned the camera to them with a cheque for £20 they would send out one of the Cars 2 cameras.
I think that's great - no hassle or anything. The Cars 2 camera's full retail price is £60 but the cheapest I found it online was £40.
Well done V-Tech - most companies would have tried to fob me off. :T:T
