I thought stamp duty was supposed to be 1% of purchase price from if property is 125,000 - 250,000

    It is!

    < £125,000 = 0%
    £125,000 - £250,000 = 1%
    £250,000 - £500,000 = 3%
    > £500,000 = 4%
  • For purchase only ours is:

    Solicitors Fees £425
    VAT £74.48
    Local Search Fee £112
    Mining Search Fee - £24
Land Registry Search Fee - £12
    Environment Search Fee - £44.65
    Bankruptcy Search £4
