Moving Phone & Broadband from Sky

Hello,
I have my TV, phone and broadband with Sky and been with them 4 years plus. I mostly watch the free channels, so the extra I pay for TV was a waste. This is something I should have done years ago when my contract finished, but was just to lazy to do it.
It really pees me off when I see new customers getting great deals from sky and existing long standing customers being screwed. Please pardon my language. And when I tried to cancel my TV they made it difficult. I won't bore you any further gripes with Sky.
I'll now move on to my question. I'm in the process of moving my phone and broadband to Plusnet and my service should be active by 16th December. As Sky charge payments a month in advance I cancelled my direct debit. When I cancelled the payments they warned me the service will be blocked which is not a problem for me as it is about to transfer to Plusnet in a few days. But I'm wondering if the service block from Sky will cause Plusnet problems doing my transfer. I think not as the line will still be active, but I'm not 100% sure. Please give me your thoughts.
Many Thanks
