Just had a look and saw a few bits I'd like to buy. Anyone know of a valid free delivery code?0

Whilst it is not my style, (neither is Joules ladies clothing) I'd agree with others, I can't afford it for me. I have, on occasion had simple/plain tops and have to say, if you get an offer, it is good quality and you have 3 months to return anything you are not happy with. As for unoriginal, it's so blooming Boden all of it, that it is not really like anything else! (Not sticking up for it as an avid wearer but slightly confused by your put down!) And some of those raincoats and dresses in the ladies wear are soooo far removed from 'dowdy' it's not true. I wouldn't wear them because they are so LOUD they SCREAM Boden on sight! Although their new tweed items are a bit dowdy...
I too am in my 30's and a size 12.:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -

I have a friend who buys Boden for the bodeness of the prints. I buy it if it's subtle and cheap. Where do the other 30ish size 12 women shop then? I can't do Next unless I want to be dressed the same as the school run mums, Joules isn't for me, I like Reiss but it's a but expensive and Zara is great on occasions but not if you are more than a 14. I'm wondering when I should go for M&S classic range ;-). I do admit to a White Stuff fetish and having a lot of Mantaray as it's similar but cheaper.0

:rotfl:Me too, I like White Stuff (but quality isn't great for prices!) Feel the same about Next, I do buy bits in H&M but in general my wardrobe is MUCH smaller than my childrens!! The charity shop! Right now I am wearing next jeans and a cashmere Macy's cardi both from the charity shop, a white long sleeve T from primark and shoes from the jones salePeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Today it's French Connection skinnies, White Stuff tunic, Zara cardi and Uggs. Well not Uggs yet as I'm sat waiting for a White Stuff delivery. Charity shops by me are awful - lucky you getting good stuff in them. I do like outlet shopping but again my kids get more than me and that's only going to get worse. The little ones don't care but the 11 year old likes Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren. Soon it will be Superdry or whatever teenage boys wear these days.0

You guys should try TK Maxx too. I'm only in my twenties but also a size 12 (glad to know there's a few of us about!) and am always finding stuff in there, particularly in the clearance. I like some of the teen stuff in boden but have never bought it as its still too overpriced IMO and I don't think I'll ever feel country/posh enough to wear proper boden, just like I'll never have the Range Rover or pearls to go with them!
Just last week in TK Maxx I got a Kookai black blazer RRP £99 (I've never owned anything so expensive!) for £18, also jeans reduced to £5 (for some reason they seem to reduce the size 12 ones down lower, the 10s are always only marked down to about £15 at the lowest), they're names I've never heard of because we don't have them down in cornwall but the RRPs of both are over £50.
Also there's always loads of diaphanous blouses and shift dresses that are beautiful but feel a little grown up for me at 24.
Plus I got my bearpaws in there for £39.99 I don't have the stomach or the means to spend £180 on uggs.Started Comping 25th September 2013.

Hey thanks to the OP, just spent £44, down from £177 so very pleased! And although I think some of the stuff from Boden can look a bit frumpy, I think a lot of their tops are really nice! Well I hope so anyway, as I'm only 21 and just bought three!
