Paint sealant

I thought most paint sealant should be applied when the temperature is warm - around 16C+ so unless you have a heated garage you won't be able to apply this until next summer. The man without a signature.0

Why no, where`d you get that from ?
That might apply to some sealants but this can be applied anytime after washing the car in less than 15 mins, very easy on and to buff off.:)0 -
So its actually a polish.0

be absolutly carefull on apply these sealants in cold temps. i would call the manufacturers help line before applying it. 500ml is not enough to cover a car either by the description of application, it will do a corsa but a volvo size car i'd expect to use 2 bottles.
paint sealant or polish do the same, seals original paint to a gloss fininsh and bead water for protection.
it sounds cheap enough to try after a call to see if its safe to use in cold temps. last thing you want to do is apply it let it dry and find its turned bad on the painwork due to cold temps causing reaction, shouldnt wipe down a car with alchohol wips in the cold either can cause milking to the laquer.0 -

500ml is plenty for a car or ten you would be surprised how little is actually needed.
Also a paint sealant and a polish are not the same thing at all.

in a sense they are the same, other than polish will buff a microthin layer off laquer, the sealnt is applyed as a layer end result is the same.0 -

Actually I think its you that is wrong and if you spray onto an applicator a little goes a very long way!atrixblue.-MFR- wrote: »in a sense they are the same, other than polish will buff a microthin layer off laquer, the sealnt is applyed as a layer end result is the same.

Polish doesn't buff a layer off the paint BTW. You're thinking of cutting compound.
This stuff is a polish, nothing more, nothing less. My wife has a bottle of McGuires that comes in a spray nozzle.
From the website:leave to cure for approx 5 minutes and with a good quality microfibre cloth wipe away the haze to leave a high gloss finish.
Yep, its a polish. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, its a duck.0
