DFS sofa broken : (

HI all ,
So in September I went into DFS and wanted a sofa pretty quick so brought one in the clearance section for £600 we managed to get it knocked down from £695....was very hard and I think they hated us after lol!!
So it's now December and I noticed a few times that the back didn't align properly it's this corner sofa and it seemed fine when we checked it over and it's been fine to sit on up til now....
I stood it upright as I thought the hooks had possibly come undone which was why it had tilted but the bit that was screwed in had come off so one hook didn't work at all the wood looked very weak and the holes were bit so when it was screwed back it it was still wobbly.
Then the same day it came out again.
Just needed a bit of advice on what my rights are before I call up the store (or should I call head office?) as I don't want to be fobbed off ( the manager in my local store is very rude and dismissive!!) So basically want to avoid him if at all possible.
Thanks in advance
Maz

A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."

They should repair it if you only bought in septemberDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

HI there just realised I never replied to this....
Well I'm not sure what I was worried about one call and they were amazing...they came out the next day in my boyfriends lunch hour and boom it was fixed straight away!!
I think I was being a bit too pessimistic before!!
So actually I should be praising them I was very impressed with the customer service I received for this!!A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."0 -
