  • not a bad day today but nothing much added to the total, I won a book which I will give to my MIL for her xmas hamper from us so I added £5 to my wins column and I got a few bars of galaxy (with the comp on of course) on special 2 for 80p at sainsburys (bought 6 so saved £1.50) I signed up for some mystery shopping sites and a few more online focus group companies so hopefully that could work out well! A list of time wasters on FB as long as my arm over the weekend so will offer those again and have managed to list a few more items on there and found the facebay group (finally) and listed my handmade bracelets on there £1.50 each or 4 for £5 + P&P so hopefully someone will see them and buy soon. Also got some more stuff packed and posted to zapper so that will be another cheque on the way later this week! I will be breaking the £600 mark tomorrow too! I am excited!
  • Evening all, some good activity going on here - very impressed!!

Sold 20 odd items yesterday so have spent ages packing and posting etc, happy though I think it has bought in about £150 - 2 non payers for the most expensive items so far... we will see!! Otherwise I will just relist them assuming I can withdraw the deal ok... again we will see!! at the mo I am kind of hoping they don't pay as I don't feel good about either sale, as i mentioned earlier though, we will see!!! :) I am going to wait til all fees etc have been paid before adding the total though.

This then inspired me to list some more stuff - found literally 34 pieces of "treasure" that will be chucked otherwise so whacked it all on for 99p starts - I am actually excited to see if it sells (and it I make any profit as I did free p&p, I only just discovered sellers dashboard and a little concerned as my postage stars don't look good although i have never knowingly overcharged I am just not very good at the estimating bit!)

Otherwise matched betting etc has kept my total healthy. I have taken £250 off for TAX - damm Income Revenue, I have literally just worked in my normal taxed teaching job but they still think I owe them £250... not a lot i can do so I will bite the bullet and pay although I am even more pleased I have this extra "income" to pay them :D

Good luck with the money making all x

Welshgirl - what a fantastic total, I might have to give matched betting a whirl.

As for me, I am going to review the things that I have again, I think that the house is due a good clearout and there are a number of items that can be ebayed. Other than that just working out the last bits of my marketing to be sent out for my shop launch. One of the client jobs seems to be getting bigger; so more money off of that. Another project that I quoted for has been accepted.

So, I'm going to work out my schedule for the day and make sure that I have all my timings right - don't want to overload myself with work and then not manage it properly. Wishing everyone a money making day!

  • For those of you who were trying to sell books etc I have just found this on Amazon. I haven't had chance to check it out in full yet but at first glance it looks as if you can get Amazon Electronic vouchers for trading in books, games etc

    Hello,

I would like to join you in this challenge. I have been reading this thread last night and there are so many good ideas to get extra pounds rolling in. You are all doing so well :T

I will count money off coupons, will finally try and ebay something - still bit scared first timer, join surveys and start selling my crafts. This weekend I will go through books, cd's and dvd's - send to magpie/zapper and join survey sites.
All of the extra money will go towards my debts - scary number -:eek::eek:. But I am now on the path of recovery:).
    Love smilies :)

nearly forgot - got £5 tesco gift card from daily mail - my friends are giving me their cards and as I don't spend money on paper I will count that in - well it is a start :rotfl:
    off to update my signature

Good afternoon!! I feel really encouraged reading how well you're all getting on. I am off to a slow start really but still doing my mystery shops and surveys and it is slowly adding up. Sold loads of stuff on ebay...made about £60 so just waiting for the funds to clear before adding that to my savings! Sold an unused cakestand to a local lady for a fiver yesterday too lol, only £5 but it's something! Going to ebay some more bits later. I have a few craft bits left over from my tiara making days...may as well use them up and see if I can get something for them. Finding the time to make them is the biggest challenge though, once the baby is in bed all I really want to do is relax lol!

I have knocked out loads of applications for part time work too. That extra bit of income will really push the savings up. Fingers crossed!

Hope you're all having a good day. Keep up the good work! ;)

A long way to go but enjoying the challenge! ;)
