I purchased my laptop two years ago along with a extended service plan from Comet including accidental damage and software warranty.
It stopped working after it accidently fell. I have been told that it cannot be repaired and they will replace it with another one which has similar specifications as they do not have an exact replacement.
I purchsed mine for £369.99 , should I be expecting the same value laptop or if im not pleased with the replacement they are offering could I ask for a cash payment to purchase another one when I find a better price/deal. Also if they offer a voucher payment which can only be used in their store can I refuse If I find a laptop which is cheaper elsewhere than in their store.
I think the one they are looking to replace me with is priced as web exclusive. £329.99.
p.s What will hapen to my laptop. Will they destroy it or sell it as spares. Im just worried about my documents and personal stuff.
Thanks for help.

They normaly will give you the hard drive back, inregards to value its not relevant its spec that is.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
