It seems so unfair that he now has to pay out nearly a months wages. Oh well.
But fair for the employer to pay it right? The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

Sorry, I don't understand the whole permit thing. Did Dominos have borough wide permits for their vehicles? CPZ permits are issued to specific cars linked to the registered address. Also unless it was a daytime delivery usually in Lambeth most parking zones finish at 18.30.0

id want triple that plus danger pay to drive round london0 -
If he put the permit on the dashboard where it should have been, and the car got towed then the permit will still be there. So when he goes to collect the car he can prove he left the permit in view; unless he's telling porkies and forgot to put it out.0

Bingo. That's precisely what I was thinking.
Methinks the bf forgot to put the display up and is telling fibs to get himself off the hook.0 -
Same thought, the vehicle should have the permit, not the driver?0

i'm still wondering how the vehicle was towed in the time it takes to deliver a pizza, the two truck must have been following himBirthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

Many years ago I stopped in a car park for a town centre that had free disk parking only to discover that I couldn't find my disk. I knew the shop on the corner (20 feet away from the car park, I swear!) had then so I checked there wasn't a parking man in site, ran all the way there and back - a matter of a minute! - and the !!!!!!! had ticketed me and disappeared without a trace. I swaer he was hiding in the bushes the whole time
Course - I still had to pay up!0 -
