I use cooked beef and lamb in a morrocan stew.
Fry an onion with some garlic in a largish saucepan (You could then add some diced carrots and fry for another 5 minutes if you have them). When softened add 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp ground tumeric, and stir thoroughly. Add 1 tin of tomatoes and cook for 1/2 an hour or so, with lid on. Add cooked meat, 1/2 tin chick peas and some tomato puree if it needs thickening up. Cook for at least another 20 minutes so the diced meat is thoroughly heated.
I usually serve with couscous or rice, but mash would probably work well too.0
