How long do you take to post things?

I state two working days - I used to post the next day, but if I was selling more than one thing, invariably there would be someone who took longer to pay than the rest, so I got fed up with going to the PO two days in a row. If everyone pays straight away I usually post the next day.0

A week to post unless it's on the listing is far too long. What's their despatch dsr like?
Low - 4 stars. Seems to be mixed on feedback, some say quick some say slow. The Fields are Green, The sky is blue, the River Nene goes winding through, The market square is Cobblestoned, It shakes the old dears to their bones, A finer town you'll never see, A finer town they'll never be, Big city lights don't bother me, Northampton Town I'm proud to be!0 -

Pretty much this, although with Christmas sales going through the roof my cut off time has moved to 2pm.
In quieter times 4pm can be the cut off.
However, for some that isn't quick enough and they want it posting 2 days before they have decided to buy it.0 -
Not sure what you mean by this? Economy delivery is 2nd class post and business 2nd class is no faster than standard 2nd class.charlies_mum wrote: »I also state economy delivery (3-5 days) but actually post by 2nd class business post so they get it faster.0 -
I think that (unless stated in a listing) that anything over 48 hours is unacceptable0

I'm not sure that's true. RM staff have been known to get things wrong (or tell you what you want to hear!). I'm an RM business customer and have never heard that my post gets delivered any quicker. Would be interesting if you could link to something official that confirms this.charlies_mum wrote: »According to our local sorting office, business post takes priority and gets sorted first0 -

Nothing official, maybe Custardy could advise. I know that since using business post, lots of my feedback comments on the fast delivery even on second classYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I used standard post through the post office up until April when I switched to a business account. Even prior to the business account I always received excellent feedback for delivery times even with 2nd class. It's been widely posted that 2nd class has been generally very fast this year for a lot of people, retail and business customers alike.charlies_mum wrote: »Nothing official, maybe Custardy could advise.
