Car Warranty and Gap Insurance Needed
I just bought a 2009 A4 from an independent dealer. They offered me a 3 year warranty, but I declined, in hope that I would be able to get a better deal myself.
Can anyone recommend a good car warranty provider?
Also, I'm looking for gap insurance cover; any ideas?

If you really must buy a warranty, the best is probably Audi's own. But it will be expensive. You should be able to take it out as the manufacturer's warranty expires - I'd ring Audi and ask.
Many independent warranties have so many exclusions that they are not worth the money.0 -
Just read all the posts that appear on here where a company have refused to payout yet again.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Can't help warranty wise, but I took out RTI insurance from http://www.car2cover.co.uk and a word colleague took GAP through them.
Am sure there are many out there but this one seemed well priced."We can all fly as high as the dreams we dare to live...........unless we are a chicken" ~ Anon.0 -

When it comes to warranty just read all the terms and conditions as it is more important to find out what is not covered. Also to find out it if covers the investigation times. Nothing worse than for a garage to strip down the car to find out that the thingy me bob they found to be the problem is not covered.
I would also check if it covers consequential damage or just the parts under warranty. For example if a part covered under your warranty fails will your warranty cover the other items that the original part failing damaged?
I totally agree if you can get an Audi Warranty from Audi themselves then you will not get better.
When it comes to gap insurance I would Google it get a few quotes and again check the terms and conditions as some seem to have more bits added for free than others.
Try gapinsurance123.co.uk & directgap.co.uk or easygap.co.uk all got good reputations.
Hope you enjoy the AudiHappiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -
www.ala.co.uk is good for GAP. If you absolutely need a warranty then have a look at What Cars service. May be worth looking at Which reports as well prior to buying http://www.which.co.uk/cars/choosing-a-car/buying-a-car/buying-a-used-car-warranty/0
