Big companies?

Hi, first post so bit of a newbie!
My and the wife are currently ignoring a TPS 'ticket' and awaiting the likely responses, so have been reading up on this site and others.
Its got me thinking though about the whole DVLA and obtaining the registered keeper details.....
What happens if the registered keeper is a big company and they have 100's if not 1000's of vehicles? What do they do when they receive the 'ticket' through the post?
Also, what about lease vehicles that are registered to PO Box's or someone like Volkswagen?
I doubt they reply, which would mean that these companies only chase the little man (ie me!!!!).
Anyone any ideas?
And top work on this subject :beer::beer:

Nope, of the cases we see the opposite is true. PPCs seem to target lease/hire cars which can be given away by stickers on the windows.
It's because lease companies often just PAY these scam invoices and pass the cost onto the poor driver. There are lots of threads on here like that where people are refusing to pay the lease company back for their glaring error, and other cases where the poor driver has just had their card debited where they have hired a car using said card.
Only the driver is liable, at the moment. But lease companies don't know or care, and will often pay any invoice that looks like a real PCN was issued. They are extremely stupid and also going against their own industry's advice by paying these fake PCNs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It would appear so!!!!
How long will it take to get them? I am wondering as my toilet roll stock is running low and need to to know if I can wait for the letter or if I need to head for Morrisons.....;););););)

I never knew that! That is pretty poor showing from them, especially the hire companies.
The reason I was asking is that I work for a 'big' public service and was wondering if these parking companies left them alone and only targeted the little man with them being easy targets, but it would appear not!
I might pass all this information onto someone who knows to try and stop my employer paying out on these, what with the current budget cuts every little helps!!!!!!!0 -
Everyone should bookmark this to send the article to hire companies and fleet managers when a company is stupid enough to want to pay them and bill the driver.

When I used to receive them for my vehicles [before I just started ignoring them] I used to turn the tables on them, I stated since the information they required was neither statutory or obligatory to supply I would be willing to supply the information if I "could" on a commercial basis. So if they sent an invoice for £40 to the driver I offered to supply the information for £40.
No one ever took me up on the offer except parking Eye who tried to say I had a moral obligation. I then just ignored them and they went away.0 -

They wouldn't know morality if it came up and slapped them round the face with a sullen trout.:rotfl:0 -
That is the first time that I have ever seen a name of a PPC in the same sentence as the word "moral".No one ever took me up on the offer except parking Eye who tried to say I had a moral obligation.
I have noted it in my diary.
However, it has also got to be the most obvious, grovelling, snivelling beg I have ever, ever come across. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
