Our good friend here raised a second clutch of Australorps, and the only two that made it are boys. They're strutting around in their small pen, being good as gold, but that can't last forever. I'm thinking, "Maybe, just maybe!"
Bit of a shame though, to use rare breeds for Christmas dinners.
Perhaps I'll just go to the Farmers' Market in Crediton on Sunday!

LIR - my little cockerels aren't just quite ready, but we have a couple in the freezer when we did a load a few weeks back. The Orpingtons are huge - does us 4 days.0

dh had olive oil flavoured icecream once. he didn't look like he enjoyed it that much, though he said he did.
