Epect them to increase your APR soon.
With Vanquis they issue you a gold coloured card once your limit reaches / exceeds 1,500; and most of the time put the APR up shortly thereafter.
My OH started with a 250 limit and 39.9% APR with vanquis. Two years later he had a 3,000 limit and... get this... 69.9% APR. And no, he'd never been over limit or missed any payments on it.
Carry on clearing it in full:beer:

false hope thats all, they think makes you want to spend on it like the days gold cards used to be something specialDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I reached ''Gold'' status and yes no decrease in APR, my limit was £3000. But paid the balance and asked them to put it to £1000, mainly to keep the green status on credit file.
I was told if you put it down to £1000 you can't ever get an increase again! Don't use the card so doesn't worry me:j0 -
Why do you want your limit at £1000?
and not £3000?If you want to see a rainbow, you have to get used to the rain.0 -

I would hate it if for any reason I had to really use the card and £3000 was available, the apr is around 59%, I literally keep it only for keeping the green squares on Experian. It did help me over 2.5 years get a 0% card with Flybe and also an Halifax Clarity card.
They don't really reward their customers' with lower apr's, I think if you have been with them 3 years, they should give a more prime rate apr. But yes I understand a long with Aqua they can help you build your credit rating.0
