Anyone else have really vivid dreams?

Hello...
..As many of you will know, I dealt with a pretty rough break up a couple of months ago, I'm still not over it in the slightest but I am feeling better, more confident and try not to dwell on it too much. What will be will be!
Taking me onto my subject, recently, for the past three weeks or so, I've been having really vivid dreams almost every night about my ex. And the same thing happens everytime and it involves being together again. I know dreams are a sign of what the dreaming person wants, but they get to the point it's so real I wake up checking my phone and thinking I can just call them again. And then I get sad and I literally spend most of the day thinking the dream through and being down again.
So, is there a way to stop these, I try not to think about the relationship before I sleep or at any point....I just need a way to stop dreaming these same things as it's slowly driving me mad!

To recap, she dumped you. From a quick read of your earlier opening post, it looks like you accept that you may not have played everything as well as you would have liked to.
Now dreams are about learning and about how to respond differently to scenarios. So if your dreams are about being together, I would say that a lot of it is a review and remodelling of how you respond to situations which did not go to well. The fact that it is your ex is a complicating factor. Learn the lessons from the dreams, move on. The dreams are probably no help with the ex, because she has moved on to. But they will probably help you with someone new, long after you have forgotten the dreams and indeed the ex.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I completely agree behind the reasoning of the dreams, I really don't want them though.
Just wanted a solution or if there was a way to stop yourself dreaming, other than staying awake and making myself even more tired for work!0 -
Why not? OK, I know why not. But if you are relaxed about them, they will probably improve your chances next time. So just rework them as daydreams with someone else in the starring role.I completely agree behind the reasoning of the dreams, I really don't want them though.
