game prices

I wonder whether anyone can help me. I bought two games from a game store today at a total cost of £58 for the two. I have just been on the game website and I could have bought the two games for £43. Can I ask in-store to price match or am I within my rights to return them and buy them on-line.
Many thanks

Worth an ask. If not, they do 28 day returns so take them back and buy online.
And next time check online first!Getting married 02.08.14

Games are normaly excluded from a returns policy unless there faulty.
And no the game store doesn't need to match any price its not a law.0 -
Thanks for that. I didn't think I would be able to do anything. I might just try popping into a store and asking any way.Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0

Usually with GAME the prices online are cheaper but they may well do instore offers only where the offer is store specific.0

It would be down to the managers discretion. If it is indeed GAME and not just a game store, i know the manager of my local area wont price match as he said they're not allowed to and if you want online prices, you need to order online =/You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

You can return them un-opened within 28 days.
The main difference in price is if you buy from the store, you have the goods immediately but if you are happy to wait , then use the web site.0
