I think that they can look fab at any time of the year as long as you don't go overboard with it

ive got a couple collection 2000 ones mentioned above and they are really good. but be careful not to get any in your eyes - ouch!!!!!!!!

ouchie indeed, cant see what i have as i have a dog on my lap.

but i have a eye liner liquid... what a waste that was for me, ended up spending the entire time after applying with gunk in my eyes, then again i rarely wear makeup and probably lacking in skills to wear it right.

Although i was given a lovely glittery mascara to use which is better

Just don't wear anything to flashy with it.

I've used the MAC glitter and ice liner before and I loved it!

I second (or third?) the recommendation for collection 2000 glam crystals. It's not tacky, it's surprisingly subtle. I sometimes wear it for work and I'm a chartered accountant!

Maybe you should try gel liner, it's easier (in my opinion) to use than liquid and gives a more cleaner and longer lasting look than kohl.
