moving house and switching

I'm moving house later this month. I have Electric from Southern but would like to switch to get cashback. What and when are th ebest ways of going about it?

    Im not 100% on how to get the best cashback. but Npower are giving 100 pounds of vouchers with some of there tarriffs through uswitch.

    Scottish Power are also giving £80 cashback on there cheapest deals through uswitch just now. Be quick though, because they go fast.
