Solution for seal around cast iron pipe?

The council don't cover the flashing side of things as far as I know. I got Building regs spec and site visit for the flat roof part of the job, but he just saw the materials on site and said that was fine and left. Once he'd gone, they tried to miss out the cross battens! So much for Council inspectors. Maybe there's some service I'm not aware of. True cowboys I guess. But with brilliant Checkatrade feedback. I have learnt my lessonthere.
Anyway, Thanks a million to Welda - I'll have a look at these and see if I can make sense of it. I can't slip anything over top of pipe so whatever I use needs to be able to be cut and resealed.
Very grateful for all help. You're very kind.0 -
Hi there,
When I said "chop a bit out" what I was trying to put over is, 9" grinder with cutting disc, cut through somewhere inside conservatory, do same...............forget this, what about filling area with expanding foam, easy and cheap fix, waterproof and, excess can be trimmed back when it has set?
Failing this, I'll carry on to finish what I started above!! BTW, foam came to me while looking at images you linked to. :j
PS.
Ask a joiner to knock up a wooden box to fit around all the pipes, bit weight on top, small hole to inject foam, remove wooden form when set.
