  • Morning all.
I've woken up really early this morning - before my children... Just watched 'It's a wonderful life' for the millionth time and still love to watch it. Elf later with my dd.
I've got high hopes for a nsd today. Here are my plans.
Visit a friend this morning for gossip and catch up.
    Have already checked bank balance.
    Housework, especially bathroom.
This afternoon my OH and DS are out at football so me and dd are planning some baking (using things that we already have in the house) followed by watching a Christmas dvd.
    Have a fantastic day everyone...

    Morning All,

Went out for the works Christmas do last night – great night….we all ate, drunk well and I was certainly very merry!

I had taken £20 out of the bank and only spent £4.45 on railfare and a coffee while I was waiting for the train home

However, I had sobered up when I realised that I didn’t know where the railway station was!!! Eventually found it and made my way home….hubby picked me up from the station so I didn’t have to worry about getting a cab home

    Today I have
    • Meals from stores
    • Checked bank
    • Read papers online
    • Might have a napette this afternoon
    • Need to put change from yesterday in my coke bottle
    • Work on my dress for the other works Christmas do
    • Will try for an NSD
    • Go to the gym after 5 so parking is cheap – will convince hubby to pay
    • Watch bits n bobs on the sky box rather than going out
    • Get ready for the week ahead
    • Early night as tired

    Take care everyone

    Morning all!
Hope all those weary from Xmas dos recover quickly!

Going to try to get a few jobs that I've been putting off out of the way today.....
    • Fill in next divorce form to drop off at court (have been meaning to do this since it arrived on Weds) done
    • Clean car if it stops raining for long enough nope, still raining
    • Tidy back garden nope, still raining
    • Do about 3 hours school work just about to start, only a couple of hours though, painting done instead
    • Write a progress report for new promoted job for meeting on Thurs morning still to do
    • Phone carpet fitter to do bathroom with off cut left over from smallest bedroom done, coming on Saturday hence the frantic painting!
    • Touch up paint in hall done
    • Do one load of washing done
    • Maybe start painting bathroom (only small so shouldn't take too long) done, only the skirting to go
    • All food from stores (goats cheese tartlet and salad for tea) done
That's enough for now - I'll be suprised if I get through it!

  • Just blitzed through my housework and did a load of cooking with dd while the boys are at football. Apparently they won so should be happy mood in the house when they get home. And I've cooked for 4 days next week, plus a rice pudding and a tray of flapjack.
All from ingredients all in the house.
And I turned the heating off whilst we were busy. It's just starting to get a bit chilly now.
