Can I have more than one online savers account with Co-op?

I currently have Co-op Cashminder and a Smartsaver, I wondered is there another savings account I can open still with Co-op and be on my online bankking?

You can have as many as you like as long as you keep at least £1 in each of them.
But don't forget the AER is 0.25% variable.0 -

Slightly off topic - but why would you actually want a Co-Operative Bank savings account? Their rates are horrendous. Obviously people do open these accounts, I've wondered for a long time why since they're so uncompetitive.0 -
Some people prefer to have all there cash in one place (eg. same bank) and don't care what the interest rate is as long as there money is safe. I don't know if that is what is happening here, but I do know someone who is getting 0.1% because they refuse to move banks as they are scarred of transferring cash (they think that it could be lost in the 'move' and so not worth the hassle of an extra 3%)0

I suspected that may be the case. For an ethical bank this rate of interest really is daylight robbery :eek:0
