postingalwaysposting wrote: »ohhh i see  now this is silly questions but ~ with your own website can people then find you on google? When you purchase a 'mr site' do you then pay £30 each year to keep the site running? I dont know anything about html/checkouts/putting anything together, can a techno phobe do this? Is it worth testing the water for a few months on ebay or would you suggest getting a 'mrsite' before or after xmas?
PaP - I'm sorry that I'm late in replying, but the Mr Site websites are really simple - you can choose from several 'template' page settings or design your own - you can get your own business email address, as well as choosing your own web address, for example papscards.co.uk. I used them for about three years when I had my business - and I was totally 'computer illiterate'. Yes you do have to pay a yearly fee - I think it's about £25, but the sites do look really professional. I am getting another one for my new business - my son is getting it for me as a Christmas Present.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

where did this site go  anyways ~
thanks rog and thanks to tru too... the good news is i am getting my mr site :j so i have cancelled my ebay shop ~ to stop me getting fees and all my items are now normal itemsso i have factored it into my monthly soa (see below) there are many reasons i have done this but mainly because i need site traffic to sell my items, having an ebay shop isnt like listing a normal item and unless somone knows you are there no one visits but i guess people can google handmade cards and find me
i hope this makes sense and its not just a way around me spending money...
rog ~ would you get the box delived from firebox etc for £35 and get 10% cash back or would you just get it all through email? on the mr site, site it says you get everything that you get in the box emailed to you ~ what would you suggest?
anyways pay day thursday and my new pay... however i am still being reserved as i want a cushion... so
£100.00 ~ mum/rent
£65.00 ~ BT
£11.00 ~ house insurance
£48.00 ~ bus cards
£200.00 ~ 10 hours driving fingers crossed this will only be 6 hours so £60 anything left will go to argos untill my 0% debt is payed
£80.00 ~ 0% furniture card ~ Argos (includes mine and bros)
£25.00 ~ Halifax ~ locked
£5.00 ~ Halifax ~ web saver
£20.00 ~ Sarah’s cards, monthly scrap
£19.99 ~ ink365 (quidco) printer inks
£40.00 ~ weekly spends
£100.00 ~ xmas vouchers/leftovers/staff shopping/argos want all of this left to pay to argos
£10.00 ~ owed to mum for scrapping stuff brought Saturday
£35.00 ~ paps cards site
£758.99

sarah i have to be with money or it all goes wrong. I dont know about mrsite but i have had some pm's that have been really usefull, i have next thursday till tuesday inclusive off hence why i will order it on thursday if i buy it or i will buy if electroniclly maybe sat/sunday. With regards to the cards, yes i would like to get a bulk made ~ maybe 30+ also at least 10 packs of cards and notelets and some bookmarks made ready. I suspect i will try and go live monday 26th in the morning maybe 10am? this then gives me 8 nights (maybe 2+ hours) and 4 full days. So i will make some progress. Need to get some xmas cards made but i have turned off from xmas these past few days but i have a few 'samples' i mind its just getting them off my brain storm pad and onto the cards
its all systems go... i will make xmas cards up to the last avalible posting day so prob the 16th december, then its onto easter cards and the usuall aniversay and birthday cards0 -
I really wish I could be as motivated and organised as u... I'm terrible at using the phrase 'I just don't have time' then end up on here for hours
Have u shut ur eBay down already?
