Is it possible to get some insurance for a refurb laptop? I cannot afford a new laptop and wondered if I bought an ex business machine (IBM ThinkPad) would I be able to insure it with a 3rd party (not household insurance)

For the cost of the policy excess you could buy another laptop.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

You'd probably be better off sticking any possible insurance premium in to a savings account so that you have enough to replace the laptop in future.0
