Amazon None Delivery

Options
Appologies if this is in the wrong place, But Iv never had call to ask for help with a complaint before.

During black Friday I bought a number of items from Amazon. All have been delivered apart from one. I am still waiting for the item from the 22nd November, The item, shoes, were a good price and are needed by son for next week.

Every time I call Amazon they say they will chase yodel the delivery company for me. Yodel are claiming they have attempted delivery twice but no card is left and I am at home when these deliveries are supposedly being attempted.

This morning I was promised another pair of boots would be sent to me by express delivery and a stop and return put on first order. I was also told I would get an email to confirm this. When I did not get an email I phoned Amazon again and was told all they could do was to send a redelivery request to Yodel about the 5th time:(

Help please

I feel for you - I have had several deliveries using yodel which have stressed me out trying to get the item to my door, one item ended up in Ireland, I live near blackpool, lancs. They really are the worse delivery companies. There are various discussions on amazon about them asking for amazon to use someone else. For one item I got a redelivery but with a different company. Good luck!!

By law, buy goods and you've entered into a contract with the retailer. If it's arranging delivery then this is part of that contract, so all complaints should go directly to the seller (unless you hired the courier separately). Don't let them fob you off.

Have a look at the Failed Delivery Compensation guide which includes template letters, what to say on the phone and more.

The guide also runs through other delivery issues as well.

Incidentally, don't sign for anything that you don't want. Ask for it to be returned when/if it turns up and tell the delivery person you no longer require the item(s). I was advised to do this last year when I purchased a few things from Feel Unique. Once the items are returned they should refund you.

Check Amazon's terms & conditions for failed deliveries as well as they should have a standard procedure to compensate you for any inconveniences, even just to refund you.

    Good luck!
