Cheapest Travel Insurance

Hello all,

I have booked a skiing holiday in April and need some insurance. I was wondering if there are any recommended websites, esp for winter travel insurance? or if there are any comparison websites I could check out?

Many thanks

I'd recommend using moneysupermarket.com. Look in the travel section, and there's a sub-section for travel insurance.

    Hope that helps

insure and go are prittty good
  • I would agree with both the previous comments. If you're intending taking even one more holiday this year (of any type) I would recommend an annual policy with a wintersports option as it is much cheaper than getting insurance each time you go on holiday. You need to check the small print before you buy but unless you intend to do crazy stuff while on your skiing holiday most policies will be suitable for you.
  • Try Insurancebookers

Their Annual Multitrip starts from £29.98 and includes 17 days of Wintersports

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've got free travel insurance with my alliance and leicester premier account. I want to add my 8 year old son to the policy and have been quoted £42. This sounds a lot. Is it a good deal or not? Should I look elsewhere for a policy for him?

We will only be taking one holiday this year.
  • I shopped around for my insurance, i got told columbusdirect.com are good but your not covered for as much, but i would deffo say insure and go would be the best.

how long are you skiing for? try https://www.complete-ski.com, saw them in the Metro yesterday...£13.94 for a week in Europe didnt seem bad, https://www.columbusdirect.com do the same thing for £15 and insure and go are £16.81 for very poor cover...
