    UPDATE:

I spoke to the company today regarding paying back training in installments. still awaiting on there phone call back. but after i requestesd my certificates off them they said we are sorry we dont issues certificates.

this got my blood boiling. I need to call the industry standards body 2mo cause i know am on the system but there is alot of companies that wont take you on unless they see the real copy of the certificate before taking you on its just to cover there own back incase something happens as its a dangerous industry.

If this is the case the training i did with them is worthless.

Hi Fairmorn, if they are not going to give you the certificates (I suspected they wouldn't to be honest) then there is really no worry about paying them back for the training. You can just ignore their letters. Inhouse training with an internal certificate is not the same as external training courses with an external certificate. They can whistle for the money, just don't pay them.

If they want it they can take you to a small claims court and it is hardly ever worth it for companies to do that - the cost to them in time and legal fees just doesn't add up.

Thats the thing as well the training i did do internal is noticed as external training and am on the national database for doing the training. shell/BP approved and its useless trying to get more work as they keep asking for my certificates.
