Tax credits Head office-what is going on?!!

Hello,

I wrote in a post a couple of months back that my partner and his two children had moved in with me and my son. I changed my joint claim from single to joint on October 5th.

I received a letter in November asking me questions as my partners children's Mum was still claiming for them and they had too determine who actually had the children. I sent this back with a Social Service letter as they placed the children in my partners care. The deadline date on the form was 8th December and as yet she hasn't sent her form back.. Tax Credits won't tell me anything, all they say is the backdating has been moved and ok'd from the 4th October but there is no timescale for Head Office, its nearly 10 weeks with 3 children now!

Anyone else had any experience with this sort of thing?!!!

Any advice appreciated

Thanks in advance
