Booking train tickets & Visa Electron - Grrrr

I'm trying to book 2 return tickets from Manc to London.

I have found them for £12.50 one way and same price for back again, so a total of £50 between us.

However, it no sites accept Electron!:eek:

Does anyone know if I can book over the phone with Electron and do they accept prices off the web?

I'm stuck in a rut, with money waiting and can't order ... how annoying.

Any tips guys?? Thx

No railway company will accept electron/solo, you will have to take cash cash to a station ticket office (large enough to make reservations - most can)

my advice - try it anyway, most of the time the system cant tell the difference!

You should be able to buy the tickets for the same price at the ticket office at any of the stations. Just go to piccadilly station or wherever, get money out and then queue up at the section for 'Future Travel'.

but be quick though - cheap tickets do sell out quickly. and must be purchased before 18:00 the day before.

Thanks.We are travelling on 26th March and returning 27th, so do have time to book early. (Going to see Noel Gallagher at Royal Albert Hall, whooo hoooo) I might call at Manc Picc this weekend.I have tried to book using Electron and it can tell the difference unfortunately :(Thanks
