Motor legal protection - is it worth it?

I have just had my renewal through for my car insurance and I have been quoted £25.99 for motor legal protection.
I have had this for the last few years but I also have got legal protection insurance on my home insurance so was wondering if they both do the same thing and am wasting my money by having two sets of legal protection type insurance. Does anyone have any advice?
